On the nose, aromas of candied red
fruit, crushed blackberries, and purple
flowers lead to a concentrated-yetbright
palate laden with flavors of wild
forest berries, cassis, white pepper,
and a touch of aged leather. Wellintegrated
tannins are balanced by
energetic acidity, which is most vibrant
on the wine’s finish. It is recommended
that this wine be served slightly
