A beautiful color of garnet red with
aromas of red fruits and notes of
cinnamon, all backed up by a mild oldoak
structure. Lush and generous on the
palate with bold elements of strawberry
and cherry jelly, notes of leather and
burnt earth, all balanced out by supple
tannins and a long fresh finish. Mid to
full-bodied, this wine is versatile enough
to be enjoyed with cold cuts, complex
salads, grilled white and red meat as
well as some typical Provençal food
such as daube, wild game or farcis niçois
(boiled vegetables stuffed with meats,
vegetables and breadcrumbs). Perfect
now, it will fully develop in the next five
to eight years.
