Feuille de Garance (Leaf of Garance) is a reference to the place that this bottling holds at the estate. It is a nod to the leaf on the grape vine—for without the leaf the plant cannot live. Deep, purple-red in color, with garnet glints, this wine exhibits crushed red fruit aromas and spicy nuances. Bright hints of garrigue red fruit and earth are evident on the nose and lead to a smooth palate with notes of tart cherry, raspberry and spice. The supple structure makes this Côtes du Rhône very versatile and food friendly. Clean, focused and crowd pleasing.
