“When I was a buyer, I was invited to an event on the rooftop of The Mckittrick Hotel called “Spring to Loire.” As the day went on I was starting to realize that there was one wine in particular that was on another level.  That wine was Le Roi des Pierres Sancerre Rosé.  I probably tried 150 wines that day and kept going back to that.  I decided at the end of the tasting to go over to the guy that was pouring it and let him know how much I enjoyed it.  As we chatted about the wine he told me it was his first day at Cape Classics.  His name was Tyler.”
